How to reach the institute

• Transport by bus and train

  Siegen is located on the Essen-Hagen-Siegen(-Weidenau) as well as Köln-Siegen-Gießen railway lines.
  From Siegen central station or “Siegen-Weidenau” station, you can take a bus routes C106, C111 or UX3 in the direction of "Universität/Haardter Berg". Get off at the stop "Hölderlinstraße".

• Arriving by car

  You can reach Siegen by motorway A 45 (Dortmund-Gießen/Frankfurt) or A 4 (Köln-Olpe).
  
  Coming from Gießen/Frankfurt, you will reach the university by taking the “Hüttentalstraße” (HTS) motorway. Leave the motorway at exit “Siegen-Netphen”, and follow the “Universität” signs.
  
  Coming from Köln, turn on to the A 4 at motorway junction “Olpe-Süd” (if you are coming from Dortmund over the A 45 motorway, leave the motorway at junction “Olpe-Süd” and turn on to motorway A 4 (direction "Kreuztal/Siegen Nord"), which then becomes the B 54 road ("Hüttentalstraße"). Leave at exit "Siegen-Weidenau/Netphen" and follow the "Universität" signs on road B 62 until the “Universität/Haardter Berg” junction (turn left at the 2nd set of lights).
