Kompetenzmanagement in der Pflege
- Category: Research project
- Duration: 2023-2024
Practice experts, incorporating scientific expertise, create a set of recommendations for implementing the personnel assessment procedure in facilities for stationary long-term care.
In the context of the project 'Development of a scientifically grounded procedure for the uniform assessment of staffing requirements in care facilities based on qualitative and quantitative criteria according to § 113c SGB XI,' a qualification system and the assignment of interventions were designed. This resulted in the development of a staffing assessment procedure that calculates differentiated staffing levels based on the number of care recipients in long-term care facilities according to qualification levels. The implementation of the procedure is associated with personnel and organizational development.
Practical experts, incorporating scientific expertise, developed a set of recommendations for implementing the staffing assessment procedure in stationary long-term care facilities from April 2021 to December 2022. This is intended to help understand how the developed qualification mix model for competence management can be utilized, simultaneously linked to issues of quality and the professionalization of care. A digital toolkit is being created for this purpose, including Best Practice examples, learning tools, and a description of implementation steps.
The initial results are summarized and presented in a poster presentation. You can find the current poster here.
Conference: More Time for Care(givers)
The recommendations for implementing the staffing assessment procedure with its associated qualitative approach, as well as insights and steps for implementation from the practical models, were presented.
The description for the professional conference on February 14, 2023, can be found here.
Interactive Knowledge Graph | KOPEMA-Pflege
How competence management can be utilized in conjunction with topics related to quality and, consequently, the professionalization of nursing will be illustrated by an interactive knowledge graph. This will incorporate learning tools, among others, from Best Practice: From Practice to Practice and implementation steps for personnel and organizational development. The open-source wiki software BookStack forms the foundation for the knowledge graph's toolkit, which will be available in 2024.
You can find information on the interactive Knowledge Graph here.
