Qualitätssichere Versorgung in der ambulanten Pflege
- Category: Research project
- Duration: 2020-2022
The Diocesan Caritas Association for the Archdiocese of Cologne started a digital model project in ambulant care in July in cooperation with the Institute for Knowledge-Based Systems and Knowledge Management at the University of Siegen, with 10 ambulant services currently participating.
A high level of professionalism is decisive for the quality assurance of services in the outpatient care setting. The QVIDAP development/research project focuses on ensuring the quality of care in outpatient care. A newly developed application (app) for various mobile devices (smartphone, tablets) will help to show the development of care quality with digital quality indicators. Routine data of the outpatient care services are the basis for the quality aspects to be recorded digitally, which should systematically show, compare and sustainably improve the customer portfolio, the personnel capacities as well as the health developments of the users.
The project has requirements for the participating care services and is divided into two phases. In the first phase a prototype is developed with the involvement of experts by the Institute for Knowledge Based Systems and Knowledge Management at the University of Siegen. The subsequent second phase focuses on practical testing and iterative further development of the application for rule deployment. Afterwards, the application will be developed further for the platforms iOS and Android and a digital tutorial for using the application and discussing cases will be developed and discussed until the end of September 2022.
