The OntoTechnology approach believes in utilizing job knowledge as a predictor of future job performance. Job knowledge, as opposed to disposition, has the major advantage of being malleable, thus allowing a person a centered approach to personnel selection. The main aims and objectives of this project are to provide detailed personalized assessment and training of essential technical competencies and related job knowledge elements that are required for a certain position. Characteristics of the consortium: Center of Job Knowledge Research (University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands), CVO Antwerpen (Belgium), Netpositive Ltd. (Hungary).
Institute of KBS&KM at University of Siegen leads the project external evaluation which consists of systematic monitoring and controlling of the quality of scientific and administrative activities during the project life time.
A general description of the outcomes includes:
- a customizable, adaptive job knowledge test
- a general mental ability test
- an applicant ranking based on integrated job knowledge and GMA test performance
- an automatic and tailored e-Learning content delivery on the basis of test results
- a cutting-edge semantic technology for job knowledge structuring, testing and evaluation.
