Fees and Funding
Tuition fees
There is no tuition fee to study at Siegen University. However, admitted students have to pay a semester fee. In 2023, it is 326.50€ (Three hundred twenty-size Euros and fifty cents). The semester fee is composed of:

Financial requirements
The students will incur a minimum of the following costs, which they should cover from their own financial resources:

Compulsory health insurance (approx. 100.00€ per month)

Accommodation (approx. 350€ per month) (Please note that you might need to pay a one-time security deposit when you rent a place)

Living expenses (approx 450€ per month)

Residence permit (approx. 100€/year)
Note
The above given calculation is for a single student. Students with a partner or child need to consider separate costs of living depending on their family. The University of Siegen does not offer any scholarships for incoming students. Information on externals scholarship programs can be found at DAAD, the German Academic Exchange Service.
It is worth noting that students calculate their finances through the degree completion and ensure they have enough funds to cover this. The above figures are only estimates and could vary depending on lifestyle, type of accommodation, budget, and spending habit. Please note that there may be additional one-time expenses for residence permit and deposit amount.
