Analogue Circuits and Image Sensors

We are the chair of integrated analogue circuits and image sensors (ACIS) in University of Siegen, headed by Univ. Prof. Dr. Bhaskar Choubey, FIET.

In Greek mythology, ACIS was a romantic mortal in love with nereid Galatea. Our happy hour on ACIS describes more background on him - if you are not interested in circuits.

Though we do not conduct research on Greek mythology or romantic stories, Acis was the inspiration of numerous painters and sculptors over the years. We push this agenda by making better digital cameras to record these paitings and create more by conducting research on CMOS image sensors.

Our research page provides details of our research background and current activities. We also study other Analogue Circuits and Microelectromechanical systems.

We are currently populating our group. Our first batch of research assistants joined the chair in October 2018. In addition, we are always looking for good graduate students as well as local bachelors and masters students, who would like to work as student assistants or intern in the field of circuit design. Write to us at acis@eti.uni-siegen.de with your details, if you would like to work with us.

Prof. Choubey also leads the microelectronics intelligence group in Fraunhofer Institute of Microelectronics Circuits and Systems in Duisburg. We have advertised doctoral positions as well as postdoc positions there.
